BLANCHED GREEN CARDAMOM PODS
Green Cardamom Pods are blanched to degrade the chlorophyll of the green outer husk color and get uniform whitish color. Blanching process diminishes some of the flavor of the cardamom, yet used in baking and some desserts because its white color helps keep light colored batters, custard/ice cream, breads, sweets, sauces, and confections.
