Traditional Japanese style. Mirin is sweetened rice wine that is an essential ingredient in Japanese cooking. Sushi Chef Mirin is of the highest quality. It is made in the traditional method of careful brewing and aging, which results in a warm, richly flavored cooking sauce. Mirin is used in marinades and dipping sauces, and in such popular dishes as teriyaki, sukiyaki, and tempura. Sushi Chef mirin is gluten free. Alcohol 8% by volume.

Fructose, Sake, Water, Yeast Extract, Caramel, Lactic Acid, Succinic Acid.


Directions

Teriyaki sauce: Combine 2 Tbsps. Sushi Chef® dark soy sauce, 2 Tbsps of Sushi Chef® mirin, and 1 Tbsp. sugar in a small saucepan. Heat until sugar is dissolved. Baste chicken, beef, or fish with sauce while broiling or pan-frying.
