This super delicious rich and hearty seasoning mix is used to prepare 'Paneer Masala', a popular Indian dish of paneer cubes (Indian cottage cheese) in a cream & tomato based sauce with intoxicating aroma.

Simple Recipe for "Paneer Tikka Masala": Melt 1/4 cup butter in a skillet over medium heat; cook and stir 1 lb paneer (cut into 1.2 inch cubes) until golden, about 5 minutes and set aside. In the same skillet saute 2 finely chopped onions in 1-2 tbsp olive oil until translucent, thenadd 16 oz tomato sauce and 1 tbsp paneer masala spice mix, stir. Add 1tbsp crushed/ground cashews and 1 pint half and half or heavy cream, stir coninuously until dish thickensslightly. Stir in paneer and salt to taste, cook for a couple of minutes and turn off the heat. Serve in a bowl and garnish it with chopped cilantro or kasuri methi. Enjoy it with naan, tandoori roti, paratha or rice.
