Mediterranean oregano related to mint family, grows throughout the Greece, Turkey & Italian region, also called ‘wild marjoram’. It has a strong aroma, pungent, warm and slightly bitter in taste.
Used in Mediterranean and Italian seasoning blends, tomato sauces, pizzas, grilled meats, vinaigrette, soups, cream sauces, salad dressing and egg, cheese, poultry and seafood dishes for strong flavors.
