Morton® Canning & Pickling Salt captures the fresh flavors of the season. This all-natural salt blends easily with liquid to make a clear brine, helping to preserve and bring out the flavor of your favorite canning recipes. It can also be used for brines and marinades!

Ingredients

Salt

Gluten Free

Directions

CANNING & PICKLING HINTS• Use only Morton® Canning & Pickling Salt when canning and pickling vegetables, since table salt tends to leave a sediment in the bottom of the jar.• Use recommended containers and lids, and follow the manufacturer's directions.• Use vinegar of 5 or 6 percent acidity.• Carefully examine jars for nicks or cracks. Chipped rims prevent a good seal, and cracked jars may break during processing.• Wash food and utensils thoroughly before processing. • Make sure finished jars are firmly sealed and there are no leaks.
