Easy rules of thumb1. 1 T. Cream Corn Starch = 2 T. Flour.To use Cream Corn Starch for thickening gravies, sauces, soups and stews, when your recipe calls for flour, use half as much Cream Corn Starch as flour.2. To Thicken Hot LiquidsUse an equal amount of Cream Corn Starch with an equal amount of cold liquid. Mix until smooth before adding to hot liquid.
Stain removalTo remove blood, grass, gravy, milk, egg, chocolate, ice cream, fruits or vegetables from cotton/linen, acrylic, nylon, polyester, and olefin, pre-soak stain in cold water. For a persistent stain: Apply Cream Corn starch paste. Rub lightly, dry and brush gently. Source: Women’s day.
